Overview
This statute assigns firstfruits and tithes for the support of the clergy, other persons in orders, virgins, and widows.
1Concerning firstfruits and tithes. All the firstfruits [and tithes] shall be brought to the bishops, presbyters, and deacons for their support.
2All the tithes, however, shall be brought for the support of the rest of those in orders, and for the virgins and widows, because they are afflicted by poverty. The firstfruits belong to the priests and their ministers.
