Canon 39
Overview
This canon condemns clergy who quarrel with other clergy and refuse reconciliation, prescribing expulsion or deposition depending on the severity of the offense.
1Command 39: If a bishop or priest quarrels with another priest and does not reconcile with him, let him be expelled. If he is found in a state of enmity, let him be deposed, as one who has killed his brother.
