Chapter 42
Overview
A prayer for the baptized catechumens, asking that the Holy Spirit dwell in them through Jesus Christ.
1The catechumens who have been baptized shall say this prayer: “O God Almighty, Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son, you love an undefiled body and accept a meek heart, a humble spirit, and a knowledge of wisdom that does not decay. By your good will and the strength of your power, cause your Holy Spirit to dwell in us through Jesus Christ, through whom glory and power belong to you, with him and with the Holy Spirit, forever and ever. Amen.”
