Overview
This canon commands communal prayer on Wednesday in remembrance of Christ’s prediction of his arrest, crucifixion, death, and resurrection.
1Commandment concerning Wednesday. They are to gather and pray on Wednesday, for on that day Jesus told them that they would take him, crucify him, and that he would die and rise on the third day. They mourned and grieved because of him.
