Canon 27
Overview
This canon orders bishops to assemble twice each year to examine church teaching and problems, and it gives dates for both assemblies.
1Canon 27.
2Let an assembly of bishops be held twice a year. They shall inquire into the order of God’s message and consider the error and obstacle that occur in the church.
3The first assembly shall be at mid-Pentecost, and the second assembly on the twelfth day of Tikimt.
