Canon 73

1Abṭelis, 83. One who is a eunuch or a castrated man shall not be ordained a bishop. We do not separate from him if he has been heard to be distinguished in wisdom, goodness, humility, skill, faith, and the work of the church, for he is not condemned because the flesh is not the sin, but the sin is the sin of the soul, which is slander, oppression, darkness, and envy, and which harms a person and is raised above them by what is not in them, as if it were a good report. But all this is a model of blasphemy against God, who says in the Holy Gospel: 'All sins shall be forgiven to a person, except blasphemy against God and against the Holy Spirit.' And he says: 'All that does not enter the mouth does not defile a person, but what comes out of the mouth.'
