Overview
This statute gives rules concerning concubines and directs the community to decide properly in cases not expressly addressed.
1Statute 30: Concerning concubines.
2If there is anything we have omitted, decide as is proper.
3A man shall give up his concubine. If she was the man’s servant, has brought up her children, and has not had sexual relations with any man besides him, they shall receive her. But if she has had sexual relations with another man, she shall be rejected.
4A man who has a concubine shall give her up or marry according to law. If he is unwilling to give her up, he shall be rejected.
5If there is anything we have omitted, decide as is proper, because we all have the Spirit of God.
