Canon 28
Overview
This commandment requires the king to act in the sanctuary with fear of God and goodness, and it invokes blessings upon his reign and descendants.
1Commandment.
2The king shall not presume to act in the sanctuary according to his own will, but with the fear of God and with goodness, so that God may establish his throne in righteousness, prolong his days, grant him eternal and spiritual grace as an inheritance, and not deny him descendants who will sit upon his throne forever.
