Canon 18
Overview
This canon excludes from ecclesiastical ministry those allied with Jews or idol worshipers and commands their removal from the clergy.
1Command.
2No one shall hold office or ministry in the church, or be numbered among the priests, who loves the Jews and becomes their friend like Iscariot, or who loves the [masaggelan], those who worship idols.
3As for such a person, [gəʿzu]; let them remove him from among them and not leave him in their midst. Let him neither be sent with them nor share with them.
