Saying 61: Jesus and Salome

1Jesus said, “Two will rest on a couch. One will die; the other will live.”

2Salome said, “Who are you, Sir, to climb onto my couch and eat from my table as if you are from someone?”

3Jesus said to her, “I am the one who exists in equality. Some of what belongs to my Father was given to me.”

4“I am your disciple.”

5“So I am telling you, if someone is /equal\, they will be full of light; but if they are divided, they will be full of darkness.”
