Saying 60: Don't Become a Corpse

1They saw a Samaritan carrying a lamb to Judea. He said to his disciples, “What do you think he is going to do with that lamb?”

2They said to him, “He is going to kill it and eat it.”

3He said to them, “While it is alive, he will not eat it, but only after he kills it and it becomes a corpse.”

4They said, “He cannot do it any other way.”

5He said to them, “You too must look for a resting place, so that you will not become a corpse and be eaten.”
