Canon 47

1Abṭelis, Canon 47: If there is a bishop, or a priest, or a deacon who does not forgive a sinner who has repented and returned to the church, let him be removed from his office, for the word of God, our Lord Jesus Christ, says: 'There is great joy in heaven over one sinner who repents and returns to God.'
