Canon 34
Overview
This canon forbids a bishop from ordaining a presbyter or deacon without proper inquiry, prescribing deposition for those who act arrogantly or without due process.
1Abṭelis, 34. A bishop shall not ordain a presbyter or a deacon without inquiry. If he becomes arrogant and acts thus, or if it is heard above him that he has done this, except for the ordination of the people, he shall be deposed. And those who ordained him shall be [subject to judgment].
