Abtilis
Canon 26
Overview
This canon mandates the removal and excommunication of clergy who commit heresy, eat meat, or engage in other specific sins, citing the example of the Lord's treatment of sinners.
1Abṭelis, 26. If a bishop, priest, or deacon commits heresy, let him be cast out. If he eats meat, or if he commits an error in the flesh, or if he commits an error of unbelief, let him be cast out and excommunicated from his name, so that others may fear. For we have seen our Lord and God cast out those who eat, and in the same way, those who err above him are not cast out.
