Canon 24
Overview
This canon establishes the grounds for the removal of a bishop, priest, or deacon from the priesthood and expulsion from the church, specifically regarding those who obtain office through bribery, false oaths, or theft.
1Abṭelis, 24. If a bishop, priest, or deacon obtains the priesthood through bribery, or through a false oath, or through theft, let him be removed from the priesthood and expelled from the church. For God says in the book: God does not accept a great sin in a single instance.
