Statute 63

1Concerning anyone who desires to partake of the Holy Mystery. Those who desire to partake of the mysteries of holiness belonging to the service of God shall be brought by the deacons to the bishop, or by the presbyters.

2They shall be questioned about the cause that first led them to be called to stand and hear the word of God. Those who bring them shall bear testimony concerning them, and they shall be examined thoroughly and firmly concerning their conduct.
