Overview
This commandment assigns the king a place among the faithful and ordained clergy during prayer and within the sanctuary.
1Commandment. Concerning the king.
2During prayer, the king shall have his place with the faithful, before all the people. He shall stand with the dignitaries and ordained priests, enter with them into the sanctuary, and have his place there. For King David, and the kings who resemble him, precede all the people in prayer, enter the sanctuary, and have a place within.
