Saying 9: The Parable of the Sower
Gospel of Thomas · Saying 10 of 115 · 1 passages
1Jesus said, “Look, a sower went out, took a handful of seeds, and scattered them. Some fell on the roadside, and the birds came and gathered them. Others fell on rock; they did not take root in the soil, and ears of grain did not rise toward heaven. Still others fell among thorns; the thorns choked the seeds, and worms ate them. Finally, others fell on good soil. It produced fruit toward heaven, some sixty times as much and some a hundred and twenty times as much.”
