Overview
This canon establishes the principle that two or three witnesses are required for any matter, citing scriptural authority.
1Abṭelis, 71. Two or three witnesses are not to be heard above a bishop, and no one is to be heard as a single witness, for as it is written in the law, by the mouth of two or three witnesses, every matter is established.
