Canon 54
Overview
This canon addresses bishops or clergy who neglect their diocese, fail to teach the fear of God, and do not care for their flock, prescribing removal from office.
1Abṭelis, 54. If a bishop or one who is a bishop of a diocese neglects his diocese and his priesthood and his people, and does not care for them by command, and does not teach them the fear of God, let him be removed from them. And if he remains in this, let him be removed from his name.
